What we collect

When you ask for an estimate. Your name, phone number, email address, the addresses you're moving from and to, your move date, how you heard about us and anything else you tell us. We use it to contact you, schedule your walkthrough, prepare your estimate and run your move.

When you call, text or email us. Your phone number or email address and what you tell us, so we can answer you and keep track of your move.

When you send us a video walkthrough. The video and the contact details you've already given us. We use it only to prepare your estimate.

When you visit this site. The standard information your browser sends, such as the pages you view, the site that sent you here, and your device and browser type. We count visits with a counter of our own that doesn't use cookies or identify you. Google and Meta also collect information through cookies and similar tools, as explained below.

How we use it

To respond to your request and give you an estimate.
To schedule, carry out and follow up on your move, including emails and texts about your estimate, appointment and payment.
To ask for a review after your move.
To understand how people find and use our website, and whether our ads are working.

Advertising and analytics

We use the tools below from Google and from Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. These companies may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to collect information from this website and elsewhere on the internet, and use it to measure ads and to show ads.

Google Analytics shows us how many people visit and which pages they view.
Google Ads conversion tracking tells us when someone who clicked one of our ads taps our phone number on this site or sends the estimate form.
The Meta Pixel tells Meta when someone visits, taps our phone number or sends the estimate form, so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show ads to people who have visited this site. When you send the estimate form, your email address and phone number may be shared with Meta in scrambled (hashed) form so Meta can match the visit to a Meta account. Meta may also receive this event information from its own servers through its Conversions API.

You can limit this:

Google: My Ad Center and the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google explains how it uses information from sites like ours at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Meta: your ad preferences on Facebook or Instagram.
Industry opt-outs: optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
Your browser: block or delete cookies in its settings.

Text messages

If you give us your phone number, we may text you about your estimate, appointment, move and payment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. We don't sell your phone number, and we don't share your consent to receive texts with anyone.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Companies that help us run the business, such as our website host, our customer and scheduling system, and our email, text message and payment providers. They may use it only to provide those services to us.
Google and Meta, as described above.
Anyone the law requires us to share it with.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to give you an estimate, complete your move and keep normal business records. We take reasonable steps to protect it, but no website or system is completely secure.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop hearing from us, call or text (770) 580-2300 or email matthew@theelevatedmove.com.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top.
